“Homo is the only creature who refuses to be what he is.”
Albert Camus
Today, quantum mechanics serves only as a means to an end, prioritizing its applicability over everything else.
This is regrettable, as it was not always the case. At the beginning of the last century, the awe-inspiring discoveries made by physicists who laid the foundations of quantum mechanics left them mesmerized. However, the more they discovered, the less they comprehended.
Over time, the opaque nature of quantum mechanics discouraged the examination of its philosophical aspects, reducing it to a sophisticated screwdriver.
Kant was once a prominent figure in these discussions, highlighting that causality is not an empirical claim that validates or disproves observations, but rather a priori categories.
Thus, our perception of the world is based solely on subjective sensations. Without a Consensus on the meaning of these sensations, no objective reality can be understood. This Consensus is formed through shared experiences and allows us to interpret our sensations in meaningful ways.
The parameters imposed on quantum mechanics are inherently inadequate due to their univocal relationship of cause and effect. While science is based on observed phenomena and assumes causality as a natural law, this causality is merely a mental tool that incorporates the results of our metabolisms and interactions with the external world, ultimately defining our experiences.
Unfortunately, these parameters failed to align with the natural world.
