Science and Tesseract

There ain’t no rules around here!

We’re trying to accomplish something!”

Thomas Alva Edison

Consciousness is a constant source of awe.

It begins with its capacity for self-reflection, which is a major obstacle to Gödel's Principle of Incompleteness since we can look at ourselves and form an opinion.

From a scientific point of view, it is the basis of imagination, which is the basis of science. Through imagination, we can conceive constructs that will be real in front of us. Examples? The neutron, the speed of light, Max Planck's quantum, Neptune.

Other times, our mental constructions remain in the soil of immateriality, but prove their reality through their utility.

Imagine a transparent cube.  Now project it onto a two-dimensional surface and notice that it creates a shadow that is a square -tension through diagonal lines- within a square.

With your imagination already sharp, create a tesseract.

Imagine a cube within a cube, suspended by planes.  The set will project a three-dimensional shadow of a four-dimensional cube or tesseract.

If you can reach the shadow of the photograph that illustrates this article, you will probably not understand it, but you will grasp the fourth dimension.

Yes.  That of space-time.

If you can see a tesseract within a tesseract, you will reach the projection of the shadow of the fifth dimension.

From there, consider your mind free.
