The Dogmatic Materiality

“The symbols of the self-arise in the depths of the body, and they express its materiality every bit as much as the perceiving consciousness. The symbol is thus a living body.”

Carl Jung

The abyss that exists between the reality of quantum mechanics and ours is well known, even though the latter is built from the former.

It was precisely in search of a bridge that we proposed the concepts of Consensus and Omphalos.

The quantum world is so absolutely special that our time does not apply to it, our speed does not apply to it, and the laws of Newtonian (or relativistic) physics do not apply to it.

However, quantum mechanics works remarkably more accurately than classical physics.  This is because it works with real and indeterministic amplitudes and frequencies, as opposed to ideal and deterministic positions and velocities.

As mentioned before, physicists today do not concern themselves with the philosophy of understanding quantum mechanics, treating it only as a high-precision tool.

This is a pity.

Within current scientific knowledge, quantum mechanics presents itself as the only way to define matter.  It's the rough road or the abomination of the Higgs boson.

It starts like this: the existence of materiality is a dogma, reinforced at every moment by the complexity of the interrelationships produced in reality.

Huh?

Translation: What exists between the particles that make us up is an immense void.  But an eternal emptiness, resulting from the stability of the behavioral patterns of the particles.  Not the particles themselves, which are interchangeable, but the models of the interrelationships of these particles.

Since the translation was from Dené–Yeniseian to Na-dené, I think it's worth saying that non-existence itself, of everything, is as immaterial as consciousness.
