The prices of carbon credits have halted their recovery trend in the compliance and voluntary markets, since their record pricing in mid-August 2022 of €98.43.
In the week between November 05 and 11, 2024, the EUA (European Union Allowance) contracts were traded above €65.00, gaining €2.00 in a week's time, settling at €67.00. The highest volume was traded on 11/08 equalling 36,638 contracts and the lowest volume was traded on 11/05, totaling 24,327 contracts.
The prices for contracts in the CCA (California Carbon Allowance Futures), Vintage Specific 2022, lost US$ 2.00 or 7.14% since closing price on November 04, to close at US$ 26,68 on November 11.
On 11/11, the Voluntary Carbon Market for Aviation, Nature-Based, and Tech-based was quoted at US$ 0,15, US$ 0,21, and US$ 0,44, respectively. On average, they gained over 0.00% relative to their closing prices on 11/04.
The prices for the ZerO2Nature diseconomy units gained on average 12.13% relative to one week ago, closing on 11/11 at €65.48 (F-DTU), €80.43 (B-DTU), €181.40 (M-DTU), €32.38 (N-DTU), €98.59 (H-DTU), and €106.88 (C-DTU).
