The prices of carbon credits have halted their recovery trend in the compliance and voluntary markets, since their record pricing in mid-August 2022 of €98.43.
In the week between October 04 and 10, 2022, the EUA (European Union Allowance) contracts were traded above €65.76, gaining €1.20 in a week's time, settling at €66.96. The highest volume was traded on 10/04 equalling 19,875 contracts and the lowest volume was traded on 10/07, totaling 15,419 contracts.
The prices for contracts in the CCA (California Carbon Allowance Futures), Vintage Specific 2022, gained US$ 0.94 or 3.63% since closing price on October 03, to close at US$ 26.85 on October 10.
On 10/03, the Voluntary Carbon Market for Aviation, Nature-Based, and Tech-based was quoted at US$ 3.79, US$ 8.53, and US$ 2.05, respectively. On average, they lost over 0.62% relative to their closing prices on 10/10.
The prices for the ZerO2Nature diseconomy units gained on average 0.46% relative to one week ago, closing on 10/10 at €20.28 (F-DTU), €27.04 (B-DTU), €67.60 (M-DTU), €6.76 (N-DTU), €33.62 (H-DTU), and €37.17 (C-DTU).
