The prices of carcredits have halted their recovery trend in the compliance and voluntary markets, since their record pricing in mid-August 2022 of €98.43.
In the week between October 18 and 24, 2022, the EUA (European Union Allowance) contracts were traded above €67.54, gaining €4.87 in a week's time, settling at €72.41. The highest volume was traded on 10/24 equalling 23,321 contracts and the lowest volume was traded on 10/21, totaling 12,835 contracts.
The prices for contracts in the CCA (California Carbon Allowance Futures), Vintage Specific 2022, gained US$ 0.09 or 0.32% since closing price on October 17, to close at US$ 28.27 on October 24.
On 10/17, the Voluntary Carbon Market for Aviation, Nature-Based, and Tech-based was quoted at US$ 3.13, US$ 6.22, and US$ 1.65, respectively. On average, they lost over 15.28% relative to their closing prices on 10/24.
The prices for the ZerO2Nature diseconomy units gained on average 2.53% relative to one week ago, closing on 10/24 at €21.24 (F-DTU), €28.33 (B-DTU), €70.83 (M-DTU), €7.08 (N-DTU), €35.23 (H-DTU), and €38.94 (C-DTU).
