The prices of carbon credits have stabilized in the compliance and voluntary markets, since their record pricing in mid-August 2022 of €98.43.
In the week between May 16 and 22, 2023, the EUA (European Union Allowance) contracts were traded above €87.14, gaining €0.11 in a week's time, settling at €87.25. The highest volume was traded on 05/22 equalling 17,605 contracts and the lowest volume was traded on 05/18, totaling 11,214 contracts.
The prices for contracts in the CCA (California Carbon Allowance Futures), Vintage Specific 2022, gained US$ 0.00 or 0.00% since closing price on May 16, to close at US$ 29.22 on May 22.
On 05/16, the Voluntary Carbon Market for Aviation, Nature-Based, and Tech-based was quoted at US$ 1.22, US$ 0.98, and US$ 0.67, respectively. On average, they lost over 1.58% relative to their closing prices on 05/22.
The prices for the ZerO2Nature diseconomy units lost on average 0.45% relative to one week ago, closing on 05/22 at €40.97 (F-DTU), €50.33 (B-DTU), €113.47 (M-DTU), €20.26 (N-DTU), €61.69 (H-DTU), and €66.87 (C-DTU).
