The prices of carbon credits have halted their recovery trend in the compliance and voluntary markets, since their record pricing in mid-August 2022 of €98.43.
In the week between July 09 and 15, 2024, the EUA (European Union Allowance) contracts were traded below €69.00, losing €2.00 in a week's time, settling at €67.00. The highest volume was traded on 07/08 equalling 29,961 contracts and the lowest volume was traded on 07/12, totaling 19,468 contracts.
The prices for contracts in the CCA (California Carbon Allowance Futures), Vintage Specific 2022, lost US$ 0.00 or -0% since closing price on July 08, to close at US$ 26,68 on July 15.
On 07/15, the Voluntary Carbon Market for Aviation, Nature-Based, and Tech-based was quoted at US$ 0,41, US$ 1,12, and US$ 0,56, respectively. On average, they gained over 0.00% relative to their closing prices on 07/08.
The prices for the ZerO2Nature diseconomy units gained on average 4.60% relative to one week ago, closing on 07/15 at €56.46 (F-DTU), €69.34 (B-DTU), €156.40 (M-DTU), €27.91 (N-DTU), €85.04 (H-DTU), and €92.15 (C-DTU).
